Just how many more supermarkets can one patronise in any one area - they're coming all over us like a rash, and we can see no cure for 'a rash of supermarkets',
is this really the best vision we can expect for our local communities, are they sustainable or is there no life beyond supermarkets? Is there an ethical alternative, a choice of retailers? Do we all need wall-to-wall supermarkets, they're not all ethical and some of the most notorious are doing away with the Fair Trade principle - Sainsbury's have gone their own way, and are still telling customers their version of Fairly Traded products is certified by the Fair Trade Foundation, no it's not, we've checked that out, it's all their own work!
