A few years ago I visited to the Burger King in Victoria, and made my way to the restroom.

A security guard/rent-a-cop stopped me in my tracks and told me that the toilets were for the exclusive use of customers.

I explained that I was a customer, but he told me that in order to qualify, I first had to purchase my food.

I explained that since BK does not provide cutlery (or plates), customers are required to use their hands to consume a meal, and that I would rather wash mine first.

He insisted that I must make my purchase first, so I asked him if I should buy my food, and then take with me into a toilet.

His reply was affirmative.

Needless to say, I walked out and haven't been back since...
