The great thing about this part of Londonm is that you don't have to rely on public transport. I live at the south end of Blackfriars Road and have walked into work for the past five years: Westminster, the City and Covent Garden are all comfortable walking distances and we don't have no-go Zones in London. If I need a car I borrow one from familiy or a friend or just hire. You may also want to take up an increasingly popular option: a moped. I recently bought a 50cc Yamaha and it makes traffic jams fun!

Easy Rentacar in Snowsfields is very convenient and cheap as long as you book well in advance.
