Stopped in at the Bus Stop Cafe on Tower Bridge Road the other night for a Tagine and a smoke. It was great. Really friendly, good simple Morrocan food, mint tea and a smoke on an apricot shisha. It's unlicensed, it's a cafe, not a restaurant or gastropub and it's so nice to have stuff like this on the doorstep. I, for one, like the middle eastern influence on Bermondsey. Oh yeah, it was a fiver for a lamb tagine full of olives and prunes and what-not.

it's by the southbound bus stop on TBR just south of the Grange Rd crossroads (where they buried Tommy Steele). Near Siu's and Tower Tandoori and you can get the 42, 1 and 188.
