Does anyone know what's happening with this ?

It would appear that the oh so professional car park business that installed itself one weekend has now relocated? Some very dodgy looking blokes appeared one Sunday, with bolt cutters, chopped the locks off of the gates,
and hey presto - Borough gets a new car park :P

The car park signs seem to have been replaced with security signs - (It appears that there is an actual security presence there as well) - concrete bollards placed by gates - and the area tidied up somewhat.

Is this an indication that the Cemetery has found a new use ?

Any ideas ?

I don't know anything about those "dodgy blokes", but I don't think the temporary car park is part of the Crossbones site. As I understand it, Crossbones is earmarked as a staging area for equipment and 4 storeys of portakabins related to the Thameslink Viaduct works if / whenever construction of it gets underway [which will take several years]. The site was used in the same way for the Jubilee line enabling works. Longer term it will probably become offices / residential.
