it may not be over yet - there is a possibility (although it has to said unlikely) that the case will go to the house of lords and then on to the european court of human rights.

i think the saddest part of the whole case is the original overturning of southwark council's original decison not to grant planning at the enquiry - London Town had originally been given a quiet nod that all would be ok by the chief planning officer who has subsequently joined the ken at the GLA, hence the continuing support from that quarter.

London Town are actively looking to sell it on, so it is also possible that the site may be bought by a company who would work in conjuntion with Tate to build something appropriate. it's in their (LT's) books at 11.4m if any forum readers are interested in making an offer!

Not a happy precedent for Potters Fields either (assuming, as I do, that those opposed need to their opposition this far).
