And I was listening to some oik complaining that he had been waiting for 5 minutes too long for his food yesterday in the 'gastropub'... Pathetic.

I assume that Ken is Ken Livingstone and you are talking about iWitness - the Tom Stoddart photographic exhibition around "The Scoop" in More London

More London hosts the first ever retrospective exhibition of award-winning photographer, Tom Stoddart, looking back over his 15 years work covering humanitarian disasters around the globe. Stunning photography albeit disturbing (and I know it is supposed to be thought provoking before that is pointed out to me... so cynical...).
