another 'does anyone know' [an electrician]

this time it's a plea for a competent electrician to do a safety test, sort out a burglar alarm and fit an electric oven. I tried a search, found that Cooks have been recommended here before - but they've moved to America!

Don't have a local recommendation, but there are a couple of older recommendations on the site - are they any good to you ?

If not, and you want to play it safe - I've used Pimlico Plumbers for electrics in the past and thought they were very good (although others have posted less happy experiences here) but expensive.

I must be pants at searching because I couldn't find those links when I tried - thanks for the help!
