Help Save the Rose Theatre.The remains of Bankside's first theatre, discoverd in 1989, were saved from destruction by commercial developers, through the determination of the local community and theatre lovers from all over the world. Once again the Rose is under threat and to raise awarness a Midsummer street party in Rose Alley has been organised at short notice for the evening of 24th June. If anybody wants to help or wants more information contact Pepe on 7261 9565. There will be live music, street performers, food, drink and craft stalls, so please spread the word.

Would like to be added to your E-mail list. I have a flat at 9 Belvedere Road and am very interested in the Rose Theatre. I have walked the area trying to find information about saving the theatre.
