Dear Sir,
I was walking along Lynton Road yesterday evening, when I heard the first firework, thrown by an urchin, this year. Is this a record? What do your other readers think? Drone, blah, etc

Urchins have been throwing, yes throwing fireworks around where I live for about a week now. Honestly, the other night I was a bit frightened to leave my flat incase they threw one at me.

I've still got last year's Christmas pudding. Do they improve with age?

Definitely. Granny swears by it. We've just made our Christmas cake (but I daren't tell granny as she'll think we're about 6 months too late)

Not what did I do on 05th Oct 1994? Oh yes, that was fun.
