Weston Street Tunnel

Does anyone know what is happening in the Weston Street Tunnel? The council looks as though they have added a cycle lane to the tunnel, but there is still a lot of rubbish lying around and the cycle lane looks unfinished.

they've added a cycle lane but it's not finished yet.

I drove through the tunnel last night and it is in a dreadful state with rubbish everywhere.

All of those traffic tunnels under London Bridge station are pretty creepy. I had heard of a scheme to improve some of them - possibly the Bermondsey Street one first - and make them more pedestrian friendly.

Does anyone know anything about these ideas?
