A visit to the Oxford Street website reveals that the 'show' continues daily from 4pm until 5 January.

There is a special light display nightly at 8.12pm in support of London's Olympic bid (20:12 - geddit?)

There is also a Harry Potter light show at some point each evening...

You can see it for miles. Coming down from North London (the horror! the horror!) on the A5, you can see it from around Warwick Avenue.

Perhaps I should stop and watch it for a bit, because to me it just looks like blobs of light moving around. Find it hard to imagine how they could turn that into Hairy Pooter.

...if you press it, they will come.

I was up in Neasden on Sunday - you could see them from there too.

Does anyone remember the lasers on Oxford Street, about 20 years ago?

Absolutely amazing - never seen anything like it since. They were all big thick beams, just above bus height - say 1" in diameter - and one seemed to run all the way from Marble Arch to TCR.
