My mother works for Geoffrey Chaucer School, and she said thst there was a nasty accident. It was involving an adult and the staff who were helping at the scene are not sure if they were going to live!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, and I wish thta everyone who uses that and other majors road take care. (AND Cross at the CROSSINGS!!!)

Sounds like it was G-EHMS then. Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (the old one was G-HEMS). They're quite impressive to see in action, but tempered by knowing someone's in real trouble.

Hope they made it. :-/

I live next to Walworth school and their playground is used as a helipad in times on need. It is impressive.
