Many of you will have seen the huge article in the Evening Standard last week and also the one in the Sunday Times regarding our dear Mr. Prescott and his riding roughshod over planning authorities hither and yon. The story of the HUGE Vauxhall Tower which will create a completely dreadful blot on the riverside landscape, and which was turned down by the planners AND the inspectors, but whom Prescott overruled and allowed the thing to go ahead is just one example of how St.George have the ear (and probably the pocket) of the Labour Party in their sights. We in Metro Central Heights are of course on the sharp end of this...St.George will start building all over our parking lot in September (having sold people flats with parking and a view there will now be no parking and, for lots of people, a view of a huge tower block right up against their windows). Can NO ONE expose this unquestionable corruption?

Calling it 'unquestionable corruption' without proof is a bit much.

AFAIK, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister decides in cases where the development affects more than just the local area. That's not corrupt, it just the way the planning process works.
