Southbank service station in Great Suffolk street
~to be precise, when ever we drive past there are always signs saying no fuel/petrol etc. but taxi's fill up no there a bias towards ordinary drivers?
who could I complain to? as we made it home on a wing and a prayer! ( daughter was trying to economise on fuel!)

Long story but the taxis aren't filling up, the drivers are using the loos and the taxi parts shop and the car wash, all of which still operate. The owners of the petrol part of the station did not pay their bills, allegedly, as told to me by the cashiers, can't imagine why somebody doesn't take it over, it must be a goldmine

Agree with Diogenes. There's no fuel there for anyone, taxi or not, and hasn't been for a long time.

On the other hand, it's a very handy place to go and check your air and water, and not too bad a place to go to pick up a cab (although the drivers there are all resting so you have to smoothtalk a bit)

...if you press it, they will come.
