Recommendation for builder/joiner?

I know it's been asked before but some of you were having work done this summer and may have new recommendations - or warnings...

We need several things done: built-in wardrobes, built-in desk and bookshelves and odd things around the house. Top priorities, as expected are reasonable price, decent work, reliable person.

Any recommendations?

I have a friend at Waterloo who used a man, Ian Tytler, to build a wardrobe, shelving, build fake fireplace etc. He did an excellent job and Tanya was delighted. She said he does a lot of the 'construction', cutting etc off-site to keep mess to a minimum. As soon as I have spare cash I'm going to have him at my place to do some work.
