Hi all

Does anyone know where I can find (online or otherwise) old black n white photos of the Shad Thames/Butlers Wharf area? I want to put together a framed collage of photos for a birthday present.

Thanks!

I thought "multi-storey stable" sounded ridiculous, but Google put me right with dozens of mentions, with this one here providing the evidence:

...a multi-storey stable complex for the Great Western Railway Company. It was built in the 19th century and housed over 600 horses.

Here's a link to the iconic Bill Brandt picture of Shad Thames - from the V&A photography collection
