Tas Ev in the arches behind Southwark tube is often quiet when Tas on the cut is packed - and it's (IMHO) a nicer place to eat

We enjoyed Waterloo Bar & Kitchen, lovely food, friendly atmosphere when we went last week (left out of the Theatre, left at the corner and about 100 yards down the pavement). May be worth a call to check if you need a reservation....

I found the tapas in Meson Don Felipe on The Cut to be delicious.
