Year after year, they seem to get rarer and rarer. Has anyone seen any yet? Where can I get one from?

Come on now, in the words of Mr Tony, isn't it time to move on.

Do agree with you Mogoot - WHSmith usually have a tray of Poppies if I remember correctly.

There's an old soldier resident at Piccadilly circus selling poppies too.

Or you can get your white poppies here: http://www.whitepoppy.org.uk/

If you buy a red poppy, you know exactly where your money is going - to the people who laid their lives on the line for this country.

Having looked at the White Poppy website, I have absolutely no idea who the money goes to, and suspect it is some sort of peace organisation.

I am sure very laudable (although they could be clearer), but if it diverts proceeds from the main poppy appeal this is very poor.

Why can't they come up with something else on a different day?

I for one will not be buying one.

Not much help to moogot, but we always have lots of them on sale at work !

I'm sure if you ask the Royal Legion, they'd be happy to send a supply to your workplace for next year.
