No surprise that Ken Livingston is giving money to southwark cathedral probably buying its support for Thames link and all the other dodge developments in the vicinity.

exactly how do you get to that conclusion? What other 'dodge] [sic] developments are you including in your statement?

Ah, so you're merely repeating something you've seen in a 'news'paper.

The Southwark News article is different and much better than what I said and takes the story from the right angle.

As I say worth looking at.

Ok, but for the benefit of those of us who don't take the Southwark News, perhaps you could provide a link to the story or at least clarify your arguments rather than just make unqualified statements. I'm no great fan of our Ken, and I don't seek to defend or condemn him on the basis of your viewpoint. However, I understood that Southwark Cathedral had withdrawn their objection to the Thameslink scheme some while ago, perhaps someone with better knowledge of the matter could comment?

The club has got it's licence because it followed the council's own guidelines. Ken's finding religion late in life. Too bad he's using our money to fund his latest crusade.

Having read the articles, my original question[s] remain unanswered. Mickysalt, how do you reach the conclusion from them that Ken is buying the support of Southwark Cathedral for Thameslink 2000?
