i live here, love the place, but can find little about its history besides one great little book published by the original seal skin owners (morrisons i think)

i know it used to manufacture seal skins for coats (very pc) until the market failed in the 60's, and that the wonderful arch at the entrance is a legacy to the product. the original factory is victorian and the art deco white building was built by wallis and partners (who designed the fantastic hoover building in perivale) in the 20/30's.

so if anyones got any further nuggets about this imposing art deco monument i would love to here from them.
