The history of the Jerwood Space Union Street and Copperfield Street

Hello!
I am researching the history of the site of the Jerwood Space on Union Street. It has been a teacher training centre, a senior boy's school called The John Harvard School, and before that it was a London Board school known as Orange Street School! I would really love to hear from anyone who has any memories of the site or the surrounding area (Copperfield Street, Pepper Street, Union Street) particularly before and during WWII.
