[split by JH from previous thread on Beetham Tower:

Looks like it's going to be getting a neighbour - and judging by the model it's going to be almost as tall, if not taller.

To avoid confusion I think this needs its own thread, rather than being tacked on to an old thread about Beetham

For reference, here is a discussion about the earlier proposal for the same site:

And where is that model on display? Is it the exhibition on the Euston Road?

In addition to these 2 whoppers, there's also the 47-storey Doon Street Tower being planned nearby -

Then there's the "Three Sisters" being planned around Waterloo Station which will include a 500ft skyscraper.

Thanks for bringing the new pics of 20 Blackfriars Road to our attention, but let's not confuse the issue by throwing in lots of pics of other towers. We all know that there are loads proposed in the area, and they've all been documented and discussed here already.

Anyone would think that you loved gratuitously posting as many skyscraper pics as possible...

As I asked above, which exhibition do the pics of the 20 Blackfriars Road model come from?

Thanks.

To answer my own question, the model was on display at the Wilkinson Eyre offices as part of an Architecture Week open day:

I just think trying to push through so many at the same time is taking the piss.
