The market is looking more cheerful than usual with jolly umbrellas and more stalls. Some good (if expensive) organic stalls and the like. And lunch-time snacks. The breezy weather seems to add to the sense of jollity and they say there is more excitement to come in the way of processions, music and dancing.

I noticed this story on the 7th of October 2011 promising a relaunch of Lower Marsh market - http://www.london-se1.co.uk/news/view/5572

I usually go to the greengrocer's stall on Saturdays but, for a change, I knocked off work early two Thursday evenings ago to go to the promised late night shopping and there were no stalls.

Today, there were no stalls either.

This isn't quite what I anticipated following the relaunch. Does anyone know what's going on? I got no response from a question on the official Facebook page.
