Hello

Anyone know any cat feeders/ sitters in the area?

Any contacts would be great

There are a couple of recommendations in this thread: http://www.london-se1.co.uk/forum/read/1/42878

Plus a link to another thread on this topic.

There was another discussion a while ago where someone suggested setting up a cat-sitting circle - I can't remember if it's in the thread I've just posted or a completely different thread - I'll see if I can find it.

[Edited to say]

Sadly, the lovely Tony has retired. I have used Jessie at CDPOM recently who is also very good, but expensive. http://www.cdpom.co.uk

If you call (the also lovely) Andrew Kirby Vets (020 7232 2637) they have details of a couple of local cat sitters, but every time I've tried to use them, they've been booked up solid.

I sit cat real good.

No seriously, I suppose I wouldn't want to leave cats with people who aren't either professionals or friends, but I'm always happy to visit other people's cats, since my rented flat isn't suitable.

This week I'll mostly be in Highgate with a grey eight-year old by the name of Rosie. Marvellous!

stephen & jeff are available for cat sitting at no charge if you are close to tooley street, se1.

we have references from 'lucy' at no 11.

our flat is too small and on the fourth floor, so we have no resident puss as we feel cats must roam.

if your moggie will travel, that's fine for short periods or we will visit daily.

We use Pas&Claws recommended by this vet. They have been very good for us the past year. Number is 0208 692 6591

We haven't had any problems booking them. That said we usually book a week or two ahead once we know we are travelling. trying to book them the day before or a couple days can be tough, as they are good and seem to be in demand.

Hi Emily

I live in Waterloo so if you're not too far away I'm happy to feed your cat for you. I too have a cat "Gizmo" so maybe you could return the favour when I'm on holiday?

Regards

Samantha
