Tas Ev serve them as a bar snack. Perhaps they have them in their shop?

Is there a difference between kadami (lebanese roasted chick peas) which I've enjoyed at places on the Edgware Road and the stuff that you can get in packets?

Make your own!

Roasted Chickpeas
4 servings.
Prep Time:5 Minutes
Cook Time:40 Minutes
Ready In:45 Minutes

1 (12 ounce) can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained
(Or prepare from dried chickpeas soaked overnight, then drained, recover with fresh water, cook until tender then drain and cool)
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt (optional)
garlic salt (optional)
cayenne pepper (optional)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Blot chickpeas with a paper towel to dry them. In a bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil, and season to taste with salt, garlic salt, and cayenne pepper, if using. Spread on a baking sheet, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until browned and crunchy. Watch carefully the last few minutes to avoid burning.

Thanks for your suggestions. I hadn't thought of Tas and will have a look next time I'm there.

And Christina, thanks. I was hoping to avoid having to make my own, but its worth a try.

I pay about 80p for 300g of them in Blackburn. You could try Royal Oak area of London as there are a few cheap Lebanese shops next to a Lebanese restaurant which are very good!
