I'm more and more intrigued. I'm sure someone on the Forum has a job for you. I shall THINK. Alas am off to TelAviv on Tuesday (groans all around from Forum people "What, AGAIN?", yes, darlings, but back for Fireworks). But I shall give some serious thought to it.

First of all did you get help with your cv? The chances are you are underselling yourself on your cv.

You room mate has my work email address - send me you cv and i will tart it up it for you if you like. We're also doing some restructuring with our back office - I'll ask around if anyone needs a willing chap!

Try Southwark Works! which is an organisation set up to help Southwark residents with particular problems to find work. they're on 0800 052 0540 or email info@southwarkworks.org.uk.

They help with CVs, interview skills, etc.

Hi,
I'd also suggest trying an agency, although you say you've had problems with some of them, I've done a couple of spells of temping in between jobs/studies, and at one point ended up working for the agency. The problem was with no experience you had to make do with filing and coffee making for ages and a lots of people just couldn't face that, but if you sell yourself to the agency as being really flexible and keen to work they will start finding you better and more permenant stuff, and I found even the filing less soul destroying than day time TV! Once you get on the books at an agency just keep on hassling them, the other problem we had was people on the list who never answered the phone when we called or said no to jobs all the time. They just got given up on.

You're also obviously at least ok on a computer, remember to sell yourself on that, the agency I've used always tested you on word and XL.

Good luck
