Hello, am looking to hold a volunteer recruitment open evening, and am looking for a good venue in SE1/ London bridge/ borough that is accessible (wheel chair) that is not too costly. Although I live near there, thinking of a good place to hold a meeting is a bit tricky! Any ideas warmly appreciated. Thanks,

space needed for people to drop in, have some nibbles, pick some info and wander off. could be up to 50 people at one time, more likely up to 30 people. Will look into the Bermondsey village hall, thanks,

You're thinking of the old Borough Community Centre, Jan, which is [very] slowly being transformed into a 'digital media centre'.

Bermondsey Village Hall is in Leathermarket Gardens.
