I've just been browsing through the 'what's on' section of the website and noticed this:

http://www.london-se1.co.uk/whatson/event/1236/an-inconvenient-truth

Does anyone know whether the Coronet is opening for movie screenings again or is this a one-off?

Oops! I'm afraid that screening (An Inconvenient Truth) isn't happening. We rather jumped the gun by including it.

The Coronet is hosting several events as part of the Elefest.

I haven't had a chance to add the whole programme to our database yet but it's all at http://www.elefest.org.uk

Might be a good time to bump this - there's a fair number of interesting movies and other events coming up over the next week or so. (The link above or the 'what's on' section of this site has the details.)

DONT MISS Paradise Now on Monday night at the Coronet (8.00) It's an outstanding movie about two young suicide bombers, made by a joint venture Palestinian/Israeli/French. As an Israeli I must tell you I thought it absolutely first class as a movie, and a very thoughtful representation of both arguments....a must-see.

Its a huge shame that elefest always seems to be publicised so late, ever year I want to go but by the time I hear about it I'm already busy.
