It seems that the refurb of the small sainsbury in BHS hasnt resulted in an improved store. On a couple of visits this week shelves were empty and the queues to pay were enormous.hopefully things will get better.

It looks to me as though despite the increase in floor space they haven't increased their range, for example 5 facings of something as obscure as cat milk! Probable due to reduced warehouse space. It does look brighter and more attractive now though.

But they are very handy for a loaf of warburtons bread - delicious.
I wonder where all those long queues used to shop before sainsburys opened?
The Coscutters and Right Price outlets must be fuming.
The obligitory questions you are asked at the checkout can be a bit tedious:
"How are you today" and "Have you got a nectar card"
There's one girl in particular who asks how you are and you reply "Very well thanks, and you?"
and she always replies "Not too good, very tired" and tells you her troubles.

My favourite was always the DeIcer (available all year round). Definately wins the silliest product in there award!

I buy red wine frequently, but never vanilla ice cream.

No complaints here...

So, it was you who snaffled those 5 bottles of the [very good] half price shiraz-cabernet I had my eye on last week before I could get back there with my credit card.....

They were sold out of all toilet paper last week. Such an essential!

Dont knock the cat milk - some of us do buy it. That said, 5 facings of cat milk might be a lot for a store than cannot keep toilet paper in stock. :-)
