I'm looking for a solicitor/notary public to witness/sign a Form 12 for the purposes of registering a company.

Can anyone recommend an SE1 based solicitor to do this?

I came across this blog post from a local firm a while ago:

They are based on Southwark Bridge Road.

I use SJD Accountancy (no connection) to set up my company. They did the whole thing including setting up a bank account. They're not SE1 based though. You can find their details on www.sjdaccountancy.com

Hi there, I'm also looking for a local solicitor, to do some conveyancing, help set up a company, and some other legal bits, I don't know if anyone has any additional recommendations?

I'll PM Emmesse as well to see if she has any recommendations now that I imagine she's completed her registration.

Thanks!

Best (quickest, cheapest unless you DIY) way to set up a company is to buy one "off the shelf" from a Company Formation Agent - see yellow pages.

Thanks Mapmaker, I'm planning to DIY, but I I'll still need witnessing etc, plus the conveyancing. Ho hum, lots of admin in my future!
