Visiting London next week

Hello,
I will be visiting London next week, and have one or two days "off" during which I can visit the city.
Suggestions of places to go, things to do? I know there is an infinity of options, but I'd rather have suggestions from Londoners than from guidebooks!
Also, if anybody is interested in showing me around, send me an e-mail message.

try going to the crypt of St Giles Church in Camberwell Church street on Friday night 9.30 pm. It's a jazz club. their website is www.jazzlive.co.uk
