Does anyone have a suggestion on a pub venue near to London Bridge or over in the City where it would be possible to have a meeting around 5 on a Friday night? looking for somewhere for 4 people where we can talk without having to shout.

What about the wine bar under London Bridge opposite Wicked night club, or the Banker and Barrowboy on London Bridge.
Howabout the bar in the London Bridge Hotel on the forecourt of London Bridge station? It's a 4-star hotel so most people wouldn't go in there.

El Vino's sorry, as our glorious editor points out, I do mean New Bridge Street, is always quiet. Though the (relatively) recent introduction of musak is a retrograde step.

The river bar on tower bridge road also have a private space you can reserve.
