Did Boris approve it already?

I walked passed there today, to my Horror there was a big drill and signs of other digging activity,
Has Boris approved this or is this just Barkley and Southwark mucking about .
If Boris approved it He lost my vote.
With the walky Talky underway he lost my vote anyway.

They are now digging foundations in the East corner of the site.

I hear things are moving again here, does anybody know anything concrete?

They have been working on the site for the last few months. Piling work, foundations and significant amount of excavation has been completed. In short, its moving full steam ahead.

And they have erected portakabin city in the East corner of the site. It's a quite impressive two story job!

Southwark and Berkeley must have decided what's going in apart from flats...wonder whether it'll be a museum or shops?

It seems Berkley are just desperate to stop the site being used for any Olympic celebrations.
I also noticed craines by the Tower of London the other day, is there to be massive Crain by the Tower of London during the Queens diamond jubilee flotilla and the Olympics.

Chambers wharf has been abandoned after the very annoying demolition, so often the case in the docklands,

The Olympic marathon isn't starting from chambers wharf so its not a priority.

What I would like to know is when and where will the 12 trees be planted to replace the 12 trees in Potters Fields Park destroyed by Berkley Homes in 2011?
Perhaps the council can tell us immediately, if Berkley Homes are too shy to speak up?
