I know, I know it's in SE16 (Rotherhithe) but you must go to this restuarant, it's lovely. I know that James will move this post (I understand James) but we have to support our lovely, friendly local restaurants! Great food, lovely staff..... just what we need in the area.

Tunnel road, Rotherhithe. Right by the Brunel museum. Worth a visit, went with the wife last night - about £45 for 2 with wine. She had 3 courses, I had two.

(I came across this post by searching for SE16 related posts!)

I live just around the corner from this little restaurant. Although service is relaxed and a little slow, it has the best food for miles and at very good prices. Their specials seem to concentrate on good meat dishes, such as beef, fish and lamb, but they do a few vegetarian options too.

Nice to see this restaurant getting mentioned here!

BTW I now live in sE16 but previously lived in SE1, also went to university (King's) and worked in SE1 for a few years too. I hope that is OK?
