We think we have foxes marking territory in the time-honoured ways in our common alleyway and front door area. We live just off Walworth Road. Anyone else local have this problem? Know any humane and successful ways of discouraging them? The smells etc. are shocking. Lived here 8 years with no problems but something's changed recently and it ain't nice!

It's the mating season. The smells will probably disappear soon.

I was told that if a young male (humankind!) pees along the perimeter of fox area they will not invade the territory? mind you whats worse..human pee or foxes..

'...welcome to my lovely home auntie beryl - yes - it is a funny smell - mind the puddle just there. watch out for the various piles of fox poo now just as you step over the door step. oh - and avoid that big pile of lion dung... anyone need a bath before lunch...?'
