Apartments in Lower Marsh & Long Lane

I visit SE1 several times a year with my two children and always stay at the Travel Inn at the County Hall. I've recently been told about two apartments let by Ateam Ltd. One is at 18 Lower Marsh above a hairdressers and the other is at 220A Long Lane, Bermondsey Square. Has anybody stayed at either apartment who could tell me what they are like and if suitable for kids. I would appreciate any comments re staying here (they are quite reasonably priced) or if i should stick with the Travel Inn!!!
