Bernie of Golden Touch

Some of you may have known Bernie, of Golden Touch, the little jewellery store in the centre of the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre. Bernie died last week of a heart attack in his shop. He was a great guy, and a major player among the traders. A sad loss.

Its really sad, he was a great assest to that shopping centre. Really will miss him.

I was completely shocked. We often had a little chat and he only changed my watch battery the week before. I could not believe it when I heard - such a really nice guy - and so young.
