I hope they have a nice map like Tower Hamlets have. I was very impressed when they introduced it a few months ago.

Well, it's up, but it doesn't work. So I guess I'm going to have to lose half a day of holiday to find out what sort of monstrosity they're planning on using to block out my last bit of daylight.

I managed to find documents attached to one of the recent applications. Went to:
http://planningonline.southwarksites.com/planningonline2/AcolNetCGI.exe
and looked at the weekly list search for 11/01/08. About the fifth one down is 08/AP/0054, so I clicked on the Documents link to see PDFs of the roof garden alterations, local street map and the planning application document.
Hopefully others will be uploaded when LBoS resources fininsh their statutory teabreak.

Strangely there is another blockage in the planning system at Southwark. I encountered this today. When e-mailing responses to the official "planning.applications (at) southwark.gov.uk" they get held up in what was described to me as 'quarantine' for days. I sent an e-mail early this morning to the address but when I called the planning officer to see if it had been received she said I should wait until Monday before assuming it had been lost! That's four days - snail mail is quicker! A friend recommended I send it to her personal southwark.gov.uk e-mail address and so I did. She confirmed receipt a few minutes later.
I recommend that anyone corresponding with planning officers online also obtains their direct e-mail. She did not object me using it.
