Little Kickers, the mini football classes, are coming to lawn 4 (the bit in the dip at the back of the park) at 3pm on Sunday 18th November to give all local toddlers (18 months to 5 years) a free trial of their classes - about one and a half hours of activity before the dark descends!

This is Riverside Parents And Carers Association's first kids event on Potters Fields and is open to everyone: boys, girls, mums and dads! Their usual age range is 18 months-5 but anyone who can walk (or roll around in goal!) is welcome. There are no limits. Little Kickers would like to point out that it is a bit chilly so we bring our little uns at our own risk of cold weather.

This is a kind of double trial, for us to see what they do and for them to see how much interest there is in their classes round here. We hope to get something regular running (any input on when you would like classes: week days? Weekends?) at the new Downside Fisher Youth Club when it opens next year, so this is a nice introduction for us all.

It would be useful to get an idea of numbers so drop an email to Info@riversideparents.co.uk if you plan on coming. Hopefully see lots of you there, and lets pray for no rain!

As WC Fields said, 'Any man who hates dogs and small children can't be all bad', so the notion of using toddlers for football has charm.
