Does anybody know what they are doing with the land that is bordered by Webber Street, Rushworth Street and King James Street? Viewing the site from the rail line that runs adjacent, they finished clearing the light industrial building that was there before around 2 weeks ago now but nothing seems to have happened on site since then. Is this just another development of apartments, similar to those already in the area or something else?

It's a development by Hexagon Housing Assocation, designed by local firm Alan Camp Architects:

Excellent, thanks for that James. I didn't manage to find anything on Google myself. I would hope that this is a high quality development, as some of the nearby Corporation of London housing in that area such as Pakeman House on Pocock Street and the buildings on Silex Street are of real architectural and historical importance in my opinion.
