Hi. I'm new to the Forum and hope this isn't out of place here.
After reading the good recommendations on this website, and being in need to register with a doctor, I phoned the above mentioned Surgery and was told that I could join, my address being within their catchment area. I was then asked to go there and fill all the necessary forms before I could see a doctor.
Everything seemed to be fine, I saw a doctor, got my prescription etc...
Two months on, I get a letter where I am told (without any attempt to apologise) that I now need to find another doctor, because my address is not within their catchment area. I phoned them and again, no apologies or explanations.
I am sure that the surgery is a good one (from a medical perspective) but I just wanted to let people know that their administrative side doesn't seem to be very efficient or professional. Very, very annoying!
