Hi there,

does anyone know how to get in contact with the Heygate Tenants and Residents Association? Is there a phone number, and e-mail? Is Doreen Gee still the chair?

Many thanks for letting me know.

A quick search suggests that the chair is Kevin Morgan.

On the subject of the Heygate Estate I've been meaning to mention this blog for a while:

A)The Chair is no longer Kevin Morgan, he resigned, but has apparently refused to hand over computer passwords or paperwork which is ...er...a problem

B)Doreen Gee is no longer on the Committee

C) Any further information call Helen O'Brien, 0207-701-5824

Hey guys,

thanks a lot for your answers. I will try to contact Helen O'Brien. Is she on the Comittee?

Hi Jackie,

I have been trying to ring Helen O'Brien on the number you gave me, but I always get an anwsering machine. Is there an e-mail as well I could try?

Does anyone else know how to get in contact with the Heygate Tenants and residents Association?

Many thanks

Hi, I am a student currently undergoing a final year project at university based on the community of the Heygate Estate, the affects the regeneration of Elephant and Castle is having on the former Heygate residents in particular and the re-housing process. I have created a questionnaire to enable me to gain a better understanding of the issues surrounding this subject and this forms part of my primary research. As you may appreciate it is quite difficult to get in contact with former Heygate residents so I would greatly appreciate any responses which should only take five minutes out of your time.

Thank you in advance.

There's a Facebook group called 'The Original Heygate SE17'- might be worth trying that.
