On Saturday morning at the Waterloo Action Centre
there is going to be a 'workshop' to allow local people to give their views on possible design for Jubilee Gardens
. Starts at 10.00 and finishes at 12.30 with a promise of food.
The people on the community side who have worked long and hard to prevent this important green space (its the one by the Eye) from being a sloping roof, a coach park or whatever else has come up over the past 20 years, are really keen that there is good participation. Otherwise we will probably get what the South Bank Centre want.
Its all welcome, with more details from Waterloo Community Development Group
