Frost Fair on Bankside

If anyone is around Bankside (in front of the Globe) on Monday 22nd December there is a FROST FAIR
Starts midday with music, walking puppets (mind boggles) ice sculpture, stalls and a photo competition to be judged by our local celeb Steve Hollingshead! In the evening mulled ale and wine and more music, bands and choirs ends around 9.30 pm
The last FROST FAIR was held in 1814, where the Thames turned icy and people started putting up stalls on the river

I'm taking my kids down there - it's outside The Globe - they can spend a couple of hours making decorations apparently.
I found it on Southwark Council's website. Go here for more info www.southwark.gov.uk
