Hi ,
Did the London marathon once before , back in 2005 and loved it ! I have managed to get a place for the 2009 London marathon but am EXTREMELY unfit now !! So if theres anyone else out there who is "beginner" standard and fancies some company on runs along the southbank , to build up and train for the big day , (even better if we could get a group of us ! ) Then i would be more than interested ;)

Ninja,
Congratulations! I got a place too, and greatly looking forward to it. I did it this year and had an amazing time thanks to the support of all the people - it made me proud to live here.
Are you running for a charity? Good luck with the training - I'm sure we'll be seeing the Thames Path full of ballot winners pretty soon!

Hi,
I found out yesterday I've got a place. I'm a complete novice but I'm ready for the challenge. I work and live in SE1 so any training & running buddies would be much appreciated.
