If Barack decides to accept his invite - where should the good folks on this forum take him for a night out.

I thought jump on the tube to Canada Water, and walk back along Jamaica Road and Tooley Street stopping off for a 1/2 pint in every pub. A quick kebab at Dock Head, of course, followed by a lock-in at The George. Only hope he doesn't tell me "you myyy besh mate, you are" and then burst into tears - embarrassing!

You went to a school named after a guy who was from where we're from - do you want to come over to visit? Hubert Humphrey did, and he had a great time!"

Is Canada Water in SE1? And surely he needs to go to Manze's?

Turns out that Boris wanted to fly the US flag outside City Hall the morning after the election but was stopped by the bureaucrats: full saga at Dave Hill's blog here.
