This may be old news to the rest of you, but I have just come across a new series on BBC2 starring Boris Johnson, "After Rome: Holy War and Conquest
". I've watched only five minutes of it so far, but I can tell it is entirely worth seeing if only for the footage of Boris riding a camel in the desert, sans hat on his famous blond mop or even sunglasses, with his trousers hitched up above his lily-white legs and black socks and shoes. He is also wearing a white dress shirt. I count myself a huge Boris fan but it's pretty hilarious. My real question, though, is when on earth he had time to film this, being mayor and all?
