Where can I buy garish 70s clothes?

A friend of mine who has his own shows (Mallorca, Ibiza, mainly 70s German music a la David Hasselhoff) is coming to London and asked me where to buy clothes - mainly shirts, maybe a jacket - for his shows.
This has to be colourful, glittering, garish, and I am sure it includes a lot of polyester ....
As this is not something I normally buy (I thought I might need to highlight this....), I have no idea what to recommend. Maybe Carnaby Street? What about Camden market? Anything else, maybe even in SE1?
Recommendations highly appreciated ;-)
Thank you!

I can see you in an outfit like that LisaJ!

Camden Lock market does some, and then there is The Electric Ballroom across the road from the market. In addition there is a vintage clothes shop in Goodge Street (the name unfortunately escapes me).

Good luck

Is that place in Lower Marsh still there? Radio Days - or is/was that the place next door? They do/did all sorts of wonderful vintage stuff.

Farther afield, the "shabbier" (bottom) end of Portobello Road is fab, and there are some vintage shops in the Brick Lane/Spitalfields area.
