Polling cards for the big day tomorrow

Either I've lost it or it hasn't been sent, but if you haven't got a polling card, what do I need to be able to vote tomorrow? Driving licence? ...

You dont need anything. You just turn up and say your name and address and they should find your name on the register.

It does say on the poll card though that it will take extra time if you don't have it with you! I find it quite strange that you don't have to bring some proof of identity though. Would personally take my driving licence just to be sure

Fortunately a fellow SE1-er delivered some literature to my door which had my number on it: was still a bit of a faff though. But the crosses have been placed. Now fingers, arms, legs and eyes are crossed ...

How would they know if you really is that person and not somebody else without any personal identification?
